If you let them, the leftist professors will tell you what they really think—and it's far more revealing than any criticism, because it’s in their own words and they don’t even realize it.
This. My university provides a banner that begs the question as to whether students feel "sad" or "overwhelmed" and therefore must head on down to Health Services to get themselves cleaved to some pharmaceutical.
At a recent faculty meeting, one professor was vaunted for noticing a student's "sadness" and shunting him down to the Health Center. "He was so grateful!"
I know this has nothing to do with DEI -- just an observation that one of the primary missions of the university has become diagnosing students' mental health.
Another boundary-crossing member of our department literally prescribes ADHD medications to students she's tutoring. When she boasted about this on FB, I asked if she's a medical professional. She got defensive. She's the ADHD specialist in our Learning Center! Yeah, says I, but are you a medical professional?
This same faculty arrived to her class an hour late on the day after the election. Openly weeping. A Chinese national student told me that she passed around a loaf of bread, obligating each student to partake in 'the last supper,' i.e. the final days before her rights as a woman are taken away.
At least the student went to Trump's website, announcing to the class, "I'm going to the primary source here..." (as I taught him.)
