You read the subtitle right. ASU officially teaches that there are (at least) 52 genders. This idea was first taught by failed psychiatrist and sexologist 😂 John Money. He introduced the concept of gender studies and gender roles. “Gender” is (empirically) a useless concept that does not give us any information in how it has been overextended. Other more helpful personality characteristics can help us understand ourselves and other people
.
ASU officially teaches that there are 52 genders in its employee training. It wants every employee to believe this. ASU relies on a group called “safe sex 808” for its information. Do you think that steps over the line?
I will debate any ASU Gender Studies professor on this topic. My contention is that there are not 52 genders and that gender is not a useful concept for self-knowledge. If this is true, then we do not need entire programs dedicated to gender studies. Let’s debate!
