Cute. So says the Christian conservative man who did make it to professor at a liberal public university. Am I to assume that you sold your soul to get there? I doubt it. Just doesn’t seem like you. Nice poem though. :o)
Note: I get the point of the poem. I worry myself about being able to find anyone to be on my committee for my dissertation, whether I do political philosophy or free will. My views are not in keeping with the mainstream on either front. This is a problem. And it is a good poem.
I studied under the great Ted Guleserian. He an atheist and me a Christian, we agreed on my thesis which was: if we ought to know God then it must be clear God exists. I argued it is indeed clear God exists. That was published as my book “The Clarity of God’s Existence” with Wipf and Stock.

OMG! He was the professor who taught my philosophy of religion course. I never knew he was an atheist!
