Dr A, another great article. Your analysis of the liberal Christian is correct. It is much easier to espouse that govt on whatever level do their good deeds for them. It absolves them of their responsibility while letting them feel good about themselves. They get all the good of Christianity without any of the work. And the farther away the govt (ie federal) the better. Even less so they have to dirty their own hands.
I am opposed to DEI in the way it is used in most universities. But opposing it because it is wrong, fascist and racist does not need God. It certainly does not need believing in Jesus Christ as the son of God. I want you and others to fight against the way DEI programs are run in our universities. However, i, and many other opponents to current DEI initiatives have no need nor any desire to "turn to Christ" nor to "attend a bible-believing church".
I agree you can oppose it for those reasons. And I'm glad you disagree with DEI. The problem isn't if you can do it the problem is if you have a consistent philosophy to explain why it is wrong without God as the foundation for moral value.
And keep writing!! Academia didn’t get corrupted overnight….not going to get fixed overnight
Thank you!

Excellent analysis of this wolf in sheep's clothing.
