This question comes up not because secular professors teach other views but because they specifically teach that Christianity is false and use their classrooms to promote their personal opinions about topics such as sexuality.
Dr. Anderson. My name is Don Thomas. I am a 53 year resident of Phoenix, AZ. I recently read your substack article through AZ Free News. I am a follower of Christ Jesus and a Veteran, and love the Republic we live in. Thank You for speaking the truth against the communist ideologies that are being taught at our universities. I wish there were many more professors like you. Keep up the good work and fight speaking out the truth against power.
I suppose it depends on what the class is. If the class is called "The Myth of Christianity" then it makes sense to make the case that it is false. However, if the class is "World Religions" and the instructor tears down Christianity as false while making no such claims about the other religions, well then that's just not really fair. As far as discussing sexuality, it's a question of relevant context. Discussing bisexuality in Algebra class seems ridiculous, but it may be relevant in a class that covers changes in social attitudes about morality.
Do they hate Christians? Maybe. Maybe they hate Christians (some) hating them. Maybe they are atheists stuck in a country of believers of all kinds and they're just sick of it. Either way, these feelings have no place in a classroom where they should be teaching ideas, all kinds of ideas. The best class I had was Philosophy of Religion and for the life of me, by the end of the class, I still had no idea if the professor was a believer or a nonbeliever. That's how it's done.

At the end of my classes students often try to guess my religion and I’ve had them guess pretty well every world religion including atheist.
