Who Leads Humanities at West?
The School of Humanities at ASU West is always looking to increase enrollment. Classes that are service classes for other degrees can do just fine. But actual majors for the humanities degrees are rarer than a unicorn. Why is this?
As a professor, I’ll receive emails from the advisory group. You can put one piece of the puzzle together when you see who is on it and has been on it for quite some time.
For example, one of the members regularly posted on social media about how Antifa isn’t that bad after all. Another one would post about how awful evangelicals are and particularly aim vitriol at any conservatives who vote Republican.
These are the professors who lead ASU West humanities. Not an intellectually diverse group. Do you think the content of their classes will be any better? Can they be free from their political bias or will it continue to affect everything they do?
