Where did this teaching come from?

From within the universities

As you watch universities around the country crumble under the pressure of the pro-Palestinian protests and encampments, you might wonder, “Where did this come from?” They are chanting for the end of Israel and are harassing Jewish students. I have seen reports about who is funding this. But I think it is important to remember something: everything these protestors are chanting is taught by their universities.

In one report coming out of UCLA, a protestor said, “You’re just a white person; we don’t like white people.” The group was chanting about “Jewish colonizers.” Instructions about how to advance the revolution were found after the Columbia encampment was cleared out.

My own university, ASU, has required employee training about the problem of “whiteness.” My college teaches a “decolonizing” program. I was asked to “decolonize” my syllabus and classroom. All of this is paid for by the taxpayers of Arizona.

So while these protestors are well financed by groups outside of the university with an anti-American agenda, we only have to look within the universities to see where their ideology came from. Professors have been teaching this for a long time. No alternative ideas are heard and this ideology is given privileged status and not allowed to be challenged.

Most people I meet do not realize this is what ASU teaches. That is why I have this substack. Continue to share it with those you think need to know what is going on. It helps to explain why we are seeing universities cancel classes, go online, cancel graduations, and fumble over what to do about protestors calling for the end of Israel and harassing Jewish students.
