I want to give you an example of the cost of DEI at universities. You can find these statistics online, but I’ll share an image a Substack friend sent me.
You can see that these salaries far outpace what professors are paid. The university is no longer a place to learn about truth, goodness, and beauty but is a radical leftist social engineering camp where the ideologies of DEI, decolonizing, infinite genders, etc, are pushed on students through emotional appeals about “social justice.”
We are seeing a few universities end their DEI programs. But keep an eye on them. That might just mean that they shuffle the money and people around to keep pushing the same philosophies but under a new name.
Students, these costs impact your tuition. Do you think it is right that your school spend money on these radical philosophies and then pass the bill to you?
Some time ago I posted similar statistics on social media, and a much-degreed college friend responded with - wait for it - I think it needs to be more because it's such a worthy cause!
Yes, and these “luminaries” have support staff and resources as well!
