A Glendale, Arizona, pastor was preaching on a street corner and shot in the head. I am putting a link to the story below. The ongoing narrative about Christians as oppressors has real-life consequences. Christians know that we are not to be surprised by persecution. But we also know we can oppose the falsehoods said about Christians by exposing them to the light of truth.
Whether it is in secular schools or mainstream media, the narrative about Christians is worse than you think it is. And it is due to an anti-Christian philosophy of history that is now the norm. In the terms of a secular professor, this teaching has achieved homogeneity. There are no other views allowed. This philosophy teaches that oppressors and oppression are the driving forces of history. It is anti-theist, although it isn’t always strictly materialist. In many cases, you will find them advocating for a return to earth worship.
The secularists will mock our prayers. But we know we are praying to the living God. Pastors of the West Valley, let’s pray for Pastor Schmidt, his family, and church. But let’s also speak out against the vain philosophies that have taken over our education system.
