One of the required DEI training modules is about combating homophobia in the workplace. It includes several links. According to this training, a person is homophobic if they do not agree with the sexual philosophy that teaches there are an infinite number of genders. If a person believes that God created humans as either male or female and that gender is connected to sex then that person is homophobic.
The insult “homophobic” reveals that they are reducing moral choices to psychological states. Rather than believing something is “immoral,” you are labeled as “afraid” of it. Rather than evaluating if a choice will be right or wrong, the impact on your psychological states of either pleasure or fear is what matters.
The training claims to help employees overcome their homophobia. By implication, this means that the training encourages the employee to stop believing the teachings of the Bible on gender and sex. As you can see in the image below from one of the links provided, the claim is that the employee needs to overcome stereotypes about sexual orientation. In other words, the employee must accept this philosophy of sexuality and no longer disagree.
People can work respectfully together without having to require agreement about sexual philosophy. There is a larger goal here.
Parents, students, donors, legislators, pastors, it is clear that a state university should not require this kind of training for employees or use tax payer money for this.
You make a good point. In a world where nature explains everything, morality is reduced to a mental state (fear vs. happiness). This of course makes sense since folks trapped in a God-less reality are forced to reduce the ontology of being to nothing more than mental states such as attraction.
Many of the elites pushing this garbage don’t believe it either, not sure if they’re being blackmailed, paid off, evil, or all of the above but all of this garbage has a demonic nature!
