Do Safe Spaces require you to reject Genesis 1:27?
My college had safe space training today. One of the goals was to teach the attendees not to assume heterosexuality. I think that is a good goal. We should not assume heterosexuality; we should prove that Genesis 1:27 is true. And we do this not by quoting the Bible at people but by showing from both general revelation and scripture that God created humans, male and female, in His image. This is provable from the nature of things and not only because Genesis 1 says so. A useful workshop would be where the attendees are shown how to do this. Maybe we should schedule one.
