I will be back on the Dennis Prager show this coming Monday at 10:30 Pacific. I am updating him on what is happening at ASU’s New College. As you know, the faculty are voting on new bylaws that will include not only DEI but also “antiracism” and “decolonizing.” A secular university should take a stance of institutional neutrality with respect to which philosophies and ideologies are taught. By making these philosophies part of the bylaws, New College is no longer institutionally neutral and cannot claim to be a college that supports academic freedom.
Prager tells me he has an audience of 2 million. That is 2 million potential students who will be interested to know what ASU’s New College is doing and if they can expect to receive an unbiased education if they attend.
