ASU West professor quotes Bible verse?
When you follow ASU West humanities professors on social media, you will see a near constant stream of anti-Trump, anti-Evangelical, hatred. However, one such professor likes to quote the Bible. This professor says that Matt 25 is their favorite verse and that Evangelical Christians forget about it. In this professor’s opinion, Matt 25 necessitates voting for Democrats and Harris. Is this right?
The only time you will find such a professor quoting the Bible is if they can use a verse out of context to support their Marxism or somehow morally defend Kinsey/Money sex philosophy. Yes, from the Bible. It demonstrates their ignorance of the Bible’s content. Let’s look at their favorite verses and see if they support voting Democrat or Republican.
In many cases, the godless professors are Marxists and are twisting the Bible to manipulate the captive Christian students in their classes through misplaced “empathy.” They will use Isaiah 1:17, Hosea 6:6, Matt 25:25, or James 1:7 to say that the Christians so be for a socialist welfare state and Marxists “social justice.”
The obvious truth that not one of these passages is about a strong centralized government welfare state. They are about what the Christian church has always done and currently does better than any other group on earth. Christians far out-give atheists and Marxists. It isn’t even close. And it gets worse for our “loving” Christian Democrat: conservative Christians give the most! Marxists hate that truth. But such godless professors do not attend a Bible believing church so they want the state to step in.
But let’s say these passages are about the government. The Republicans and Capitalism have done more to end oppression, unite divided groups, and aid minorities, than Marxism and the Democrats combined. Remember, the Democrats gave us southern slavery, the Civil War, Jim Crow, red lining, separate but equal schooling, opposition to the civil rights act, free heroine needs, etc etc. Marxists, well, do we need to even repeat the horrors of what they did? Not one country on earth is better for having been Marxists and instead they are all nightmares.
Where do people want to move? To countries where capitalism inspires invention, technology, innovation, creates jobs, builds educational systems, health care systems, and ends poverty. They want to move to the counties with the rule of law, courts that work, courts that obey the law, government officials who are under the law, where individual freedom is protected by law, and where people can vote and impact their society for the better.
So, let’s say these “loving” professors are right. Their argument means that everyone should “vote Trump.” Why would they vote for Harris who represents a party that has failed and been the source of slavery and oppression for two centuries? And that is without factoring in that the Democrats are currently the party of baby killing and trans-surgeries on children.
I’m so happy this professor quotes the Bible. I hope they quote it more. The truth of the Bible always shines even in such moral darkness. We are called to help the oppressed and downtrodden. This is what the Church has always done far better than the unbelieving world. Thank the Lord that we now have a president that will protect the United States so that institutions like the Church can do the work of the Gospel in peace.
