ASU Privilege Checklist
Did I ever tell you about ASU’s privilege checklist? In the picture you can see the list of possible privileges such as white, cisgender, and Christian. If you click on the one that represents you, you’ll be given a list of your privileges. This is what ASU believes the humanities are about.
Do you think that a state university should be pushing this content as if it is the truth? Is it discrimination?

Yeah, just read through the Christian Privilege list. I'm unsure where a bunch of those are coming from because they are highly inaccurate. "14. It is easy for you to find your faith accurately depicted in television, movies, books, and other media." Nope, in fact it's easier to find just the opposite.
No, ASU should not be pushing this as if it was truth and no, it is not discrimination until it is acted on. It does, however, reflect a very ignorant and small mindset.
Off topic, I am reading Bertrand Russell's The Practice and Theory of Bolshevism, that he wrote in 1920 after his visit to Russia, and I came across this passage at page 39-40, "the Communist teachers show bitter hostility to other teachers who do not accept the doctrine." Seems to me that is what you are experiencing. Plus ca change, n'est pas?
