ASU “people in transit”
I’m look at this advertisement from ASU’s Honors College and not sure what it means. What is “take part in a desert walk to better understand the experiences of people in transit”? Is that people who are breaking US immigration law or something else?
If that’s what it means, in what other setting would ASU send students to experience what it is like to break United States law? Is ASU even allowed to put students in that situation?
Let’s ask some Az legislators what they think.

Maybe the desert walk to better understand the experiences of people in transit is meant to enable the students to be better border patrol officers.
