ASU celebrates Pride Month
What does it mean for a State University to be neutral? Or, conversely, what does it mean for a state university to promote a specific ideology? Dedicating an entire web page to a sexual ideology certainly seems to be promoting and endorsing it. This is what ASU has done for Pride Month. Specifically, ASU’s Graduate College is promoting and endorsing Pride Month. ASU has no similar web page dedicated to Fidelity Month (an alternative to Pride Month).
The sexual ideology taught by Pride Month is against Biblical morality. That is, by promoting one ASU is rejecting the other. The university is taking a position.
Parents and students, if you believe in Biblical morality, do you want to attend a school that rejects it as false and promotes ideologies that reject the Bible? Donors, do you want to give your money to an institution whose professors will be happy to take the money and then tell you that your values don’t matter? Legislators, is this what you thought state tax money be used for at ASU?
Pastors, you, and parents must consider wisely what you will advise students about their university education. The days of a state university, at least trying to look natural, are long gone.
